Simba Player connects to whatever M3U or M3U8 playlist you already have — it doesn't include or provide any content itself. Here's the full setup, start to finish.
1. Install the app
Simba Player is available as a direct APK download for Android, and through the Samsung Tizen Store and LG Content Store for Smart TVs. See the download page for links to each.
2. Find your device's MAC address
On first launch, Simba Player shows the device's MAC address on screen — this is what uniquely identifies your TV or Android device for activation. It's usually found under the app's settings or the initial setup screen.
3. Get a device key
Every device pairs with a device key generated for it. If you don't have one yet or can't find it, use the "Contact support" link on the Upload Playlist page to reach the team over WhatsApp.
4. Upload your playlist
Go to simbaplayer.com/device/login and enter:
- Your device's MAC address
- Your device key
Once logged in, open Manage Playlists → Add Playlist, give it a name, and paste your M3U or M3U8 link. Optionally, protect it with a PIN so it can't be viewed or edited without entering the code.
5. Activate your device
New devices start on a limited trial. To remove the trial limit and unlock full, uninterrupted access, activate from the Activate Device tab — it's a one-time fee per device, and activation only unlocks the app itself; it doesn't include or generate any content.
Troubleshooting playback issues
If a channel won't play, double-check that the stream link is still active and that your TV supports the stream's codec — this varies by manufacturer and model. See our FAQ for the most common causes.
