LG Smart TVs run webOS, and Simba Player is available directly through the LG Content Store — here's how to get it set up from start to finish.
1. Install from the LG Content Store
Press the Home button on your LG remote, open the LG Content Store, search for Simba Player, and select install. A direct link is also available on our download page.
2. Open the app and note your MAC address
On first launch, Simba Player shows your TV's MAC address on screen. You can also find it manually under Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Connection (or Wired Connection) → Advanced Settings — the exact path depends on your webOS version.
3. Request a device key
New devices need a device key to activate. Use the "Contact support" link on the Upload Playlist page to request one over WhatsApp if you don't already have it.
4. Add your playlist
Go to simbaplayer.com/device/login from any device, log in with your MAC address and device key, then use Manage Playlists → Add Playlist to paste your M3U or M3U8 link.

LG's Magic Remote works fine with Simba Player's standard interface — use the pointer or the directional buttons to select playlists and channels.
Common webOS-specific issues
- App missing from the Content Store — some older or region-locked LG models may not show every app; check that your TV's software is current.
- Slow channel loading — usually a network speed issue on the stream source's end, not something the player itself controls.
